Dress Code: Proper Golf attire is required on the golf course at all times. No cutoffs, short shorts, tennis shorts, jeans of any kind, tank tops, track shorts, or haltertops are allowed and proper footwear is required.

Pace of Play: An acceptable pace of play is 4 1/2 to 5 hours for 18 holes. Our GPS can determine if you are falling behind. All members and guests are expected to cooperate and groups falling behind will be asked to pick up their ball and advance to the position according to the time spent on the course.





Split Rock Golf Course is one of the best-kept secrets in the Northeast, offering 27-holes to resort guests and the public. It's majestic 585-yard 11th hole claims one of the most spectacular views in the entire Northeast, let alone one found on a golf course. Because the holes are spaciously distributed, carts with GPS are provided. Play takes about 4 1/2 hours to complete 18 holes.

The starting tees on this 6,500-yard course are impressively landscaped. Offering championship black to ladies red, each starting tees offers its own unique view of the fairway, having been positioned at different angles and elevations. The trees surrounding the course are abundant and as most trees indigenous to the region, positively burst with color in the fall. On some holes the trees create tight fairways, but the grounds crew at Split Rock do an excellent job managing the undergrowth so a duffer can find their ball without considerable difficulty.

Split Rock Resort is a thinking man's course and has to be played with a combination of strategy and power. The driver will see use on the longer holes three holes are over 550-yards and other holes where only a thunderous drive can clear water to reach the fairway. Ravines, ponds, and bunker-lined fairways, along with the occasional deer or turkey, require the golfer to carefully measure their club choice.

Making Split Rock Resort even more inviting is it's greens fees, which also includes the golf cart. In the off-season, before Memorial Day and after September 30, one can ride a cart and play 18 holes for $35 midweek and $50 on the weekend. In season, rates are $50 midweek and $72 on the weekends, but there are great midweek specials and twilight rates available.

The Split Rock Resort is widely known outside the Pocono community, at 90 minutes from New York City, it should be included in any tour of courses to play in the Northeast.

  • When will the waterpark be open?
    H20ooohh !! Indoor Waterpark is now open - it will be closed some Monday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday's in off season - check the schedule online for hours of operation.

  • Does Split Rock offer wireless internet access?
    Wireless internet access is provided throughout the Galleria and Willowbrook buildings and in the lobby of the Lodge.

  • Are pets allowed at Split Rock?
    Pets are not permitted on property.

  • Is smoking allowed at Split Rock?
    Smoking is allowed only in certain rooms and outside the facility.

  • Does the Resort have quiet hours?
    Quiet hours are between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., but we ask that all guests are courteous to other guest during their stay

  • Is a credit card required at check in even if my suite has been pre-paid?
    A credit card is required at check in to cover incidental charges that may be incurred during your stay. At check in, your credit card will be authorized to cover the cost of additional nights and $50.00 per night for incidentals

  • Does the Lodge accept Debit Cards?
    The Lodge does accept Debit Cards, and an authorization will be held against your card. Even though the authorization is released at check out, it may take your bank up to 10 business days to release the hold.

  • I'm having a problem logging into the timeshare section of the website.

  • How do I get in touch with a guest of The Lodge?
    Please call 570-722-9111 to get in touch with a guest that is staying at The Lodge.     The 800 number is for reservations only and can not be transferred to guest rooms.

  • I'm having a problem viewing your website. I keep getting a "forbidden" type of error when trying to access the pages.
    If you're having this problem, most likely you're an AOL user using the AOL browser. The AOL web browser is a stripped down version of Internet Explorer and not really based on "web standards"

    To rectify this, log into your AOL account as usual, but instead of browsing the internet using AOL's browser... open Internet Explorer (which comes installed on all Windows computers) and use THAT to access our site.
