Social Director Doc Holiday, SOCIAL TEAM LEADER MADDIE, MARANDA, MICHAEL, BITZY, HAROLD, DAN “THE MAN”, JOHN, ANN, EMILY, JOY AND the REST OF THE Social & ENTERTAINMENT staff welcome you.
We are so glad that you chose to spend your vacation time with us. At Split Rock we take great pride in presenting a wide variety of activities for all ages from morning until night. Whether you sit in the lobby and read a book or enjoy all the great amenities and activities that are available, your vacation is what you make it. The owners, management and staff are very excited that you chose to spend your vacation time with us. We will do everything possible to make your stay a most memorable one. If no one shows to an activity Doc’s staff are instructed to stay fifteen minutes past the start time. If no one arrives by fifteen minutes past the start time Doc's staff are instructed to go on and perform other duties. We will do our very best never cancel an activity. If not enough guests show for a particular activity an alternative activity will be offered. Bottom line is please be on time and there wont be any problems. Again, from our family to yours, WELCOME!

10:30am EMILY’S PRE-TEEN & TEEN 90 MINUTE SOCCER CLINIC. Meat Emily at the soccer goal on the recreation field.. Please wear proper shoes. (no flip flops)
12:00pm MADDIE’S FAMILY CAR CARAVAN TO HIKE/SWIM PICNIC AT HAWK FALLS. Meet Maddie in the Galleria main lobby with your car ready to roll. He will lead you about 15 minutes to Hickory Run State Park. You will then walk 8 tenths of a mile to the falls and 8 tenths of a mile back. You can leave at any time. Maddie will return by 4:00pm. Bring a lunch to eat by the falls.
12:00pm ANN’S BOGGLE GAME. Meet Ann in the Pit Lounge.
1:00pm JUDGE EMILY RENDERS HER DECISION AT THIS TIME. Please be by your sand creations.

Today we say goodbye to Maranda who will be getting married and joining her husband Joel who is serving in the US Army and we say best wishes to Social and Entertainment Team Leader Maddie McDonald who will be the fulltime Art Teacher at North Skuykill High School here in PA. Maddie will stay on here as well and will help out when she can. We are very glad that Maddie will have summers off. Boogie down at the beach with Doc, Maranda, Maddie, Emily and Ron.
