Here is this week's activities schedule.

Here are the daily activity sheets and some lost wallet information.  If you need examples of the type of activities we do here, just scroll down and you will see.  I will update with new schedules twice a week.  For special requests please call 570-722-9111  ext 500 and leave your name, the week and the days you will be here, and a way I can get back with you.  Please note that I need a minimum of ten days in order to fulfill a request.  At Split Rock we take great pride in providing a wide variety of activities for all ages. We encourage all our guests to take advantage of the daily activity program which specializes in fun, health and wellness, educational, arts and crafts and sports.  If you have your own ping pong paddle, bring it.  Same with your baseball glove (summer) The best part about it is that 90% of this program is free.  I look forward to meeting everyone.  Thanks to Elizabeth Maxsey for finding racing turtle Magnificent Maddie.  Go Yankees.

DOC’S LOST WALLET GAME #3:  Doc lost his wallet one month ago.  It is somewhere on Split Rock grounds.  It is not in any building.  It is not in grass, water, sand or dirt.  It is black, vertical and flush to whatever it's wedged in.  You can't see the sides, top, bottom or back of it.  All you can see is the thin black line of the wallet.  Most importantly the wallet is not hidden in a dangerous spot.  The prize is worth $1,800.  Please don't rearrange the landscaping while looking for it.  Remember no one clue points to the exact spot and all clues point to the vicinity of the wallet.  It only contains Doc's business card. Good hunting and Godspeed.

I will start working on Thanksgiving week schedules today.  I will post them when they are ready.  The scedule will be packed for all ages.  Potato car racing, and charity pumpkin rolling down the ski hill will be featured.  There will be plenty of teen and pre-teen activities.  Kids Say the Darndest Things (7 and under), Little Miss Rock and Little Mr. Rock beautiful baby contest, Jewelry making, Adults and Kid's "Learn to Draw, Family Fued, Oldy wed and newly wed game, Horse Racing indoor basketball, the annual outdoor touch football game,  Monster Ball (with the five foot giant ball, Super jackpot Turtle buck Bingo and a whole lot more.  I will put up each day as I finish it.  It normally would go out Sunday.  I will see what I can do.  Happy Thanksgiving to all and see you soon.  Thanks,                                                                                                                                                                                                    Doc

11:00am  HAROLD’S FOOD- ART-DRINK CAR CARAVAN TO FLOW IN HISTORIC JIM THORPE.  Meet Harold in the Galleria main lobby with your car ready to roll.  He will lead you to Historic Jim Thorpe for a fun filled afternoon combining great food and amazing art at FLOW and the Carbon County Cultural Project.  We will be given a personal tour through the gallery complex and then enjoy a tasty lunch next door at one of Jim Thorpe’s top culinary spots.  After lunch Harold will walk around the “7th most quaint town in the United States.”  Printed directions will be handed out so you can return at any time you desire.

10:15pm  DOC  DRAWS THE BIG TICKET FOR THE FREE VACATION AT DANCE NIGHT IN THE GALLERIA NIGHTCLUB.   Each time you order a drink at the Pit Bar you will be given a ticket.  That’s right, one ticket for every and any drink paid for. 10:00am DOC’S VACATION OWNERS WELCOME ORIENTATION.  Meet Doc and your fellow guests at the movie theatre for an informative orientation designed to make you more familiar with the resort and the surrounding area. Enjoy homemade crumb cake, coffee, tea and juice.   This is not a sales presentation.

 

12:00pm DOC HOLIDAY’S H2OOOOOOOOOOH VACATION OWNER MONDAY.  All vacation owners and exchanges meet Doc outside the main water park entrance at this time.  You get 4 all day passes for only $99.  Have proof of  vacation ownership available.  Your whole family must be present at the time you buy your tickets.  Once you have your band you can come and go as you please.  Doc will hang out with you for a while.  If you arrive past noon just mention Doc’s name.  The park closes at 8:00pm.
