International Beer Festival

Welcome to the 12th Annual Great Brews From Around The World International Beer Festival, scheduled to take place on April 12th, 2008 from 1PM to 5PM.

This indoor event will feature 30 of the world's finest breweries, along with fabulous music and crafts. Food purveyors offering international menus will also be in attendance, and seminars related to International beer topics will be featured. 

Each attendee will receive a commemorative beer tasting glass, andyou must be over 21 to enter. Advance Tickets are $20, Tickets at the door are $25 and Group Tickets (25+) are $18.


TUTORED TASTINGS

Seminar 1: The Beer Bout- George Hummel
Join beer writer, award winning homebrewer and owner of Home Sweet Homebrew, George Hummel in a tutored tasting that will take you around the world in 80 beers. Sample lagers against ales and get a beer's eye view of the flavor components of great beer. Don't be afraid of the dark because we will be tasting dark beers against light beers, as well.


Seminar 2: Pairing International Beers with the World Class Cuisine of Pennsylvania- Sam Cohen Join our wine lover turned beer lover as he address burning questions such as:
a. How does a person plan a beer dinner;
b. What beers pair with what foods;
c. Do I want my beers to compliment or contrast with my food;
d. Do I go to the grocery store or the beer store first?

    We expect the waterpark to be open for August 2008.

  • I'm having a problem viewing your website. I keep getting a "forbidden" type of error when trying to access the pages.
    If you're having this problem, most likely you're an AOL user using the AOL browser. The AOL web browser is a stripped down version of Internet Explorer and not really based on "web standards"

    To rectify this, log into your AOL account as usual, but instead of browsing the internet using AOL's browser... open Internet Explorer (which comes installed on all Windows computers) and use THAT to access our site.

WHAT'S GOING ON

The 18th Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine and Food Festival
June 21st and 22nd, 2008
7th Annual Great Pocono Cookie Contest - You are invited to the 6th Annual Great Pocono Cookie Contest. Bring at least one dozen homemade cookies to the Pit Lounge any Thursday at 4:00pm from Jan 3rd, 2008 - December 25th, 2008.

The weekly winner receive lunch for two. There will be a random drawing of all the weekly winners on December 31, 2008 for the Grand Prize of A Free Weeks Stay at the beautiful Split Rock Resort and Golf Club.

You may bake any type of cookies you want and enter the contest as many times as you wish. Mail in entries are always welcome. Please time your delivery so that your cookies arrive before Thursday of any week.
